Hope for Diastat Bill Rests with YOU
Thanks to your support and advocacy efforts, the Diastat bill (SB 1051) has passed through the Senate Education and Health Committees. Unfortunately, Senate Leadership put the bill in the "suspense" file, placing it on hold due to strong union opposition. However, there is still hope as Senate Leadership has the power to free this bill from the Appropriations Committee and it is your collective voice that will make the difference. Call Senator Steinberg (916-651-4006) and Senator Kehoe (916-651-4039) TODAY to register your support of SB 1051 and kindly request that the bill be released from Appropriations. For questions, contact Rebekkah at (310) 670-2870.
